Meta CEO wins Oil and Gas Entrepreneur of the Year Award

Kevin Stewart, CEO of Meta, has scooped the prestigious title of Oil and Gas Entrepreneur of the Year in the 2013 Ernst & Young Scottish Entrepreneur awards.
Redefined Well Integrity
Aged just 39, Kevin has achieved notable success in his career having been founder and CEO of a number of successful oil and gas firms. His most recent achievement was creating the premium downhole isolation company Meta, which has redefined well integrity with its range of metal-to-metal sealing technology.
Clear Vision and Objectives
Kevin was identified as a "passionate and innovative entrepreneur and natural leader" by the judges. He was praised for exhibiting a "wide spectrum of knowledge" and for being "very clear on his vision and objectives for Meta".
Commenting on his win, Kevin said: "It is an honour to receive such a prestigious business award and for Meta's and the employee's successes to be recognised.
